Teacher Grants
The Murphysboro CUSD 186 Education Foundation is excited to announce its Teacher Grant Program.
This program is designed to directly impact and benefit students of Murphysboro CUSD 186 by supporting teachers and professionals in the school district to make their ideas and aspirations for their students a reality. All projects funded intend to promote the enrichment of the educational process in the school district.
The Education Foundation’s board invites classroom teachers, as well as other personnel (counselors, reading specialists, speech pathologists, etc.) to submit applications for projects.

Please submit your application to your building’s administrator. Should he or she verify that district funds are not available the application will be returned to you.

Scholarships
The Foundation is here to help with your desire to establish a new scholarship. We, along with our partner The Southern Illinois Community Foundation (SICF) http://www.sicf.org/, will guide and assist you in making your generosity a reality.

2016 Golf Outing
We are currently working toward a fundraising Golf Outing for 2016. Mike Austin is chairing the committee for the fundraiser. If you have any interest in assisting, please contact us.
Scholarship Funding
The Foundation is working to organize existing and create new scholarships for the District.
Grant Funding
The Foundation has created a grant process for Teachers to request funding for non-budgeted items that will assist the Teacher in improving the education experience for its students (how do we redirect viewer to the Grant process?).
