Athlete- Must be a graduate of MHS at least five (5) years out of school and a minimum of three (3) years attendance.

Team- Nomination must be of five (5) years after the completion of season

Coach or Athletic Director- Must have had a tenure of at least ten (10 years in the Murphysboro School District. nomination must be minimum of five (5) years upon retirement, separation or any other reason for leaving the position.

Outstanding Contibutor- Any individual that has provided significant service to Murphysboro High School Athletics. Outstanding Contributors may be nominated during any nomination cycle.

Honorary Selection- Any Murphysboro High School affiliated individual who has been recognized by a collegiate or state level athletic "Hall of Fame" or some other similar extraordinary athletic achievement will be considered for induction in this category.
