Academy of Distinguished Alumni
The Academy is established to recognize alumni of Murphysboro Community Unit School District 186 who have made extraordinary contributions to their vocations, professions, or communities. Nominations are accepted during odd-numbered years, with a recognition reception and ceremony in October of even-numbered years. The committee will review all nominations and announce honorees in May before the October induction.
