Who We Are
Investing in Education.
Empowering the Future.
The Murphysboro Community Unit School District 186 Education Foundation (CUSD186EF) is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization created to enhance educational opportunities for students and staff in District 186. The Foundation receives, manages, and distributes charitable funds to support classroom innovation, student programs, and scholarships that help graduates pursue higher education.
Guided by a volunteer Board of Directors made up of dedicated community members, the Foundation exists to provide resources beyond what public funding can offer. All donations are tax-deductible and go directly toward improving learning experiences in our schools and shaping brighter futures for our students.
